Michael Heringhaus began his musical education…
at the age of 6, learning piano and moving onto percussion and guitar later in his adolescence while dedicating his life to political studies in college. However, the love of music diverted his path away from academia and into the Chicago music scene playing and writing for bands Ghastly Menace and Heroin Chic. He moved to Los Angeles in 2016 to further his education in music, studying with private teachers and completing the Herb Alpert Applied Music program at Los Angeles City College. He studied classical/commercial guitar and composition and won awards in Best Guitarist and Honors Performance.
He currently lives in Nevada City, CA, offering guitar/music theory/singing lessons out of his residence.
